Key Responsibilities Create detailed project schedules covering all stages of utility installation, including excavation, trenching, pipe laying, and commissioning. Develop comprehensive method statements detailing construction processes, identifying risks, and recommending safety measures. Collaborate with engineers and designers to align project methodology with technical designs and specifications. Liaise with contractors and subcontractors to ensure understanding of project scope, timelines, and required resources. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential delays or cost escalations and develop mitigation strategies. Work with estimators to align project methodologies with budgets and cost projections. Ensure compliance with local laws, environmental regulations, and safety standards. Skills & Experience Required Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Strong technical knowledge of utilities and civil infrastructure construction methods. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Proven ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, contractors, and clients. Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet deadlines. In-depth understanding of local regulations and environmental standards for utility installations.
