Only Australian Permanent Residents or Citizens will be considered. About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer with strong application support experience to join our team. In this role, you will: Provide advanced support for complex web applications , SaaS platforms , and business-critical systems . Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues while working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. Manage incident and service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow , Jira , or similar). Ensure high-quality support and timely issue resolution. Use your strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities in both Korean and English to succeed in this role. Key Responsibilities: Application Support & Troubleshooting: Provide high-level application support for web-based applications and SaaS platforms . Ensure timely diagnosis and resolution of issues. Troubleshoot complex problems involving JavaScript code , web services, and application configurations. Analyse log files and use debugging techniques to resolve incidents. Respond to escalated issues where first-line support cannot resolve the problem. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to report bugs and recommend improvements. Platform Support & Incident Management: Manage and support platforms like ServiceNow , Jira , or similar for incident , service , and problem management . Implement workflows, SLA monitoring, and service catalog updates. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and enhance platform capabilities. Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with stakeholders, including developers, QA, and product managers, to resolve technical issues. Communicate effectively with Korean-speaking clients and other stakeholders to understand and resolve technical problems. Provide regular status updates to management regarding critical issues and ongoing support activities. Documentation & Process Improvement: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for technical solutions, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles. Develop best practices for handling incidents, managing changes, and improving service delivery. Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards. Required Skills & Experience: Previous experience in application support for web-based or SaaS platforms is essential. Fluency in both Korean and English (written and verbal communication). 2 years of experience providing technical support in a customer-facing environment, preferably for business-critical systems. Experience working with incident and service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow , Jira , or similar). Strong knowledge of JavaScript and proven experience troubleshooting JavaScript code in production environments. Proficiency in log file analysis and applying standard debugging techniques to resolve complex issues. Familiarity with incident management , knowledgebase systems , and defect escalation processes . Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience). Excellent problem-solving skills, with a methodical and analytical approach to resolving technical issues. Work Conditions: Location: Sydney CBD - Hybrid working. Work Schedule: Full-time, 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday). Start Date: 02/03/2025. Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role). Rate: AU$55 to AU$59 per hour Superannuation (depending on experience).
