6 months CONTRACT with potential extensions Hybrid working arrangement (3 days in CBD) Daily Rate: $800 (inc SUPER) ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Systems Engineer to do end-to-end management of our infrastructure, encompassing analysis, design, installation, configuration, maintenance, and repairs. As a pivotal member of the team, you will ensure our data center and corporate infrastructure meet regulatory standards, business objectives, and client expectations. The Lead Systems Engineer will also take charge of strategic planning, providing actionable insights and recommendations on infrastructure, security, and future roadmaps. A key responsibility will be ensuring the seamless execution of daily tasks and projects by the team while delivering innovative and efficient solutions. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Analyze, design, and deploy infrastructure solutions that align with business needs. Lead the design, implementation, and testing of HP Synergy Chassis, HP Storage, Brocade switches, and other infrastructure components. Manage workload migrations and ensure systems are fully documented and optimized. Oversee the implementation of Veeam Backup Solutions, including hardware setup, testing, and operationalization. Ensure compliance with PCI audit requirements by automating evidence collection processes. Develop and implement automation for routine system checks, server builds, and restoration testing. Provide expert guidance on infrastructure design and security practices. MORE ABOUT YOU Proficient in designing, installing, and configuring HP and Dell Compute Hardware, Brocade switches, VMware, HP Storage, and Veeam Backup Solutions. Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server environments. Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange administration. Proven ability to design and implement automation processes for infrastructure management. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization and reliability.
