Our client is an engineering company delivering electrical engineering consulting and auditing solutions; manufacturing, installations and maintenance of Rotating Equipment, Panel Design and Manufacture, Marine Services, Mining, and Site Services to Mining, Industrial & Utility segments throughout NSW with a 75 year history. We are seeking an electrical engineer to produce effective & compliant electrical engineering designs and oversee the procurement, production, testing, installation & commissioning while complying with Australian Standards. You will need to have: Bachelor Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering 5 years' experience in electrical design (Switchboard or Motor Control Centre) design for Industry, Mining or Utilities Project Management experience managing multiple concurrent projects Experience with Low Voltage and Medium Voltage (upto 33kV), Load Flow Studies (eg. E-Tap) and Critical Instrument Systems (including SIL) Experience with Programming PLC/HMI/SCADA - Allen-Bradley or Siemens S7 preferred Highly familiar with Electrical Standards - AS3000, AS3008, and AS61439 Familiarity with AS4024 (desirable, but not critical) Auditing to Electrical Standards Facilitating Design Risk Assessments Driver's license Please submit your resume and cover letter in Microsoft WORD format only.
