ROLE We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, modification, and management of hardware products, ensuring seamless integration with software systems to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role requires a hands-on, problem-solving approach and will involve collaborating across teams to drive the successful deployment of both hardware and software solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, modify, and manage hardware products for mass deployment. Ensure the smooth deployment of systems and processes, focusing on an exceptional customer experience. Track hardware assets and licence systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop software for hardware devices and ensure seamless integration with cloud platforms. Oversee the development of new or modified hardware systems. Liaise with third-party stakeholders to manage the design, development, and construction of hardware assets. Develop mass deployment plans and manage licence systems for deployed devices, including BIOS tuning and customisation. Assist in the creation of hardware applications, middleware, and APIs. Innovate and create new applications, systems, and technologies to enhance customer experience and IP. YOU Proven experience designing and implementing hardware solutions, particularly with an understanding of software integration. Software development including C, C++, C#, Java (MUST) , Arduino, Linux, Windows 10. AWS services such as S3, Cloudwatch and SSM. Developing embedded software systems. Expertise in integrating hardware and software development efforts. Solid understanding of configuration management, control processes, and systems. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
