ConsultANZ is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to join one of our clients to lead the way in designing and optimizing cutting-edge processes in small, medium and large-scale projects, both for Australia and abroad. RESPONSIBILITIES: Review functional statements, organizational charts, and project information to identify and eliminate redundancies. Lead process engineers in developing and implementing innovative mechanical processes. Collaborate with teams to define project objectives, scope, and timelines for effective execution. Create guidelines and regulations for tasks like installation, modification, and quality control. Analyze and improve existing processes, conduct experiments, and provide strategic recommendations. Conduct plant inspections, mentor team members, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices. REQUIREMENTS: BEng in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering 10 years of technical design experience Exposure to process and structural disciplines, including EI&C Proven background in the Engineering Consultancy field Experience in a lead role on projects (e.g., Senior Project Engineer, Senior Mechanical Engineer) Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Water sectors BENEFITS: Career development $115 - $135K base plus super, negotiable based on experience APPLY NOW if interested or email careersconsultanz.com.au to hear more about this opportunity.
