Enjoy continuous learning in a 12 Mos Contract with potential Perm conversion Hybrid setup (2 days onsite) working from amazing Sydney CBD office Join a highly regarded Global Networking team & learn from Industry Experts This is an amazing opportunity for a Network Guru to contribute their NetOps & Vulnerability Management expertise for a multi-award-winning Cloud leader also recognized as 1 of the Top Fortune 100 companies to work for Role: Senior Network Engineer What your exciting days will look like: This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Network Engineer playing a critical role in ensuring the security and reliability of our global network infrastructure . You'll be the POC for Vulnerability management efforts (AU & US) leading the identification, assessment, and remediation of network vulnerabilities, collaborating with security teams to prioritize and address critical issues. Key duties: Spearhead vulnerability identification, assessment, and remediation. Analyze vulnerability scans and prioritize remediation efforts. Collaborate with security teams on vulnerability response. Develop and maintain security policies and procedures. Participate in security audits and compliance assessments. Investigate and respond to security incidents. Plan and execute network device upgrades to address vulnerabilities. Partner with global teams on network security initiatives. Troubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). Automate tasks using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform). Skills needed to be successful in this role: Up to 6-10 years of experience in ISP/data center networks . Solid foundation in routing, switching, security, and load balancing . In-depth knowledge of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, HSRP/VRRP, IPSEC, SNMP). Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (Nessus, Qualys) and penetration testing frameworks . Expertise with Cisco, Juniper, F5, Palo Alto, NGINX, and Fortinet devices. 2 years of experience with cloud computing technologies . Strong scripting and automation skills . Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
