As an M365 Infrastructure Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for performing the end-to-end operations and support to the business for Microsoft 365 cloud and on prem services. You will be responsible for the management of cloud-based services and some on premise services. You will be reporting into the Service Operations for Infrastructure & Operations Manager within the Workplace & Contact Centre group. Roles and Responsibilities: Service Administration: Manage user access, licenses, and permissions within the M365 service portfolio. Monitor service health, performance, and usage metrics. Coordinate with IT teams for infrastructure maintenance and upgrades. Infrastructure updates, patching for on prem services and administration of cloud services Business Support and Training: Ensure end-user support, troubleshooting, and training on service features and best practices is in place for the user population. Create and maintain documentation, FAQs, and self-help resources. Foster a community of service enthusiasts within the organization. Vendor Management: Liaise with Microsoft or other vendors regarding licensing, support, and feature requests. Technical Expertise : A strong understanding of data governance and security principles is essential. The role may require working with cross-functional teams, balancing competing priorities, and cooperating across teams and with various stakeholders Customer Service : Strong relationship management and customer service skills are crucial. The role involves providing support to end users, which requires excellent communication and training skills to help users understand and effectively use M365 services Risk Assessment : Being part of risk assessment processes, to ensure that key risks identified are within appetite and that any material changes to functionality align with the intended use of such tools Training and Enablement : Participating in training opportunities, to stay updated on the latest features and best practices for service delivery Collaboration : Engaging with cross-functional teams, including collaboration with top collaborators, managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of M365 services. At least five years of technical experience in the IT industry L3 Operational end user and infrastructure support and troubleshooting services for M365 services Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem (Microsoft 365) Demonstrated high level experience in M365 services administration is essential. Proven experience in managing M365 services and associated tools. Experience with monitoring and optimization of M365 services. Knowledge of Microsoft collaboration tools and DevOps practices Microsoft certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) preferred. Excellent communication and training skills.
