We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with expertise in dbt Core and Azure , ideally with experience in MS Fabric , to join our team for an advisory project. This role involves implementing dbt Core as part of a critical roadmap project for our client, working closely with industry leaders to deliver tailored data solutions. Location: Melbourne (on-site 2 days per week) Employment Type: Contract Key Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their data engineering needs and provide customised solutions. Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using dbt Core and Azure services. Implement and optimise data models within MS Fabric . Work closely with the Director of Data, AI & Cloud Services to ensure project success. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout all data processes. Qualifications Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on dbt Core and Azure . Preferably experienced in MS Fabric . Strong SQL and data modelling skills. Hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions . Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration abilities.
