Client Details Our client is a large scale healthcare provider in Australia, employing over 17,000 staff across the country. Description Provide technical leadership/advice to develop and implement robust cyber security measures with ACSC Essential 8 at maturity level 1. Overseeing regular security audits and implementing necessary changes Collaborating with IT department to ensure seamless integration of security controls, such as: Application Control implementation implemented via AppLocker (must have Application Control experience) Complex Group Policy structure MFA (NetIQ and EntraID platforms) Vulnerability and patch management (Microsoft and nix platforms) Responding swiftly to any security breaches or threats Engage in risk mitigation and compliance Providing training and guidance to staff on cyber security best practices Staying up-to-date on latest developments in cyber security technology and threats Developing and maintaining documentation on security measures and protocols Reporting regularly to upper management on security status and improvements Profile Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5years in cyber security, with hands-on expertise in implementing technical controls. 5 years of hands-on in platforms / infrastructure engineering, supporting, and maintaining MS Windows platforms / nix platforms Strong knowledge of cyber security principles and best practices Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Desirable but not necessary: Experience in delivering security projects for healthcare or critical infrastructure sectors. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
