About the Role As a Systems Engineer – Operational Technology , you’ll be pivotal in supporting and enhancing systems that monitor and control South Australia's electricity transmission network. You’ll work with cutting-edge technology, including the Open Systems International (OSI) Energy Management System, and ensure operational excellence through innovation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Maintain and support critical OT systems, including SCADA, automation, and control systems. Manage system changes across planning, delivery, operations, and maintenance phases. Monitor and improve data quality, system integrity, and reporting for real-time operational needs. Troubleshoot and resolve OT issues, ensuring system reliability and availability. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, implement solutions, and provide training. Develop and maintain operational applications, procedures, and performance metrics. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in OT processes and systems. About You You are a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a solid technical background in systems engineering, operational technology, or automation. You thrive on tackling complex challenges, delivering results, and collaborating with diverse teams. Essential Skills & Experience: 5 years in systems engineering/Integration role Experience with automation, control systems, and system integration. Proficiency in databases and reporting tools (SQL/Oracle). Strong understanding of networking, security, and virtual environments. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Desirable Skills & Experience: Exposure to Energy Management Systems (EMS/ADMS). Knowledge of big data technologies and relational databases. Familiarity with utilities or engineering industries.
