The Opportunity You’ll lead the charge in designing, deploying, and optimising cloud infrastructure while collaborating with key stakeholders on cloud architecture and migration strategies. There are multiple opportunities to work in either end-to-end architecture or purely engineering side. Additionally, this is long-term contract of 12 months with 24 months extension options. The Role As a Cloud Engineer, you will: Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CDK Implement automation and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes Design and operate medium-to-large-scale enterprise systems, databases, and infrastructure Script solutions using Perl, Python, and PowerShell to optimise workflows Maintain and monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance Design scalable cloud solutions aligned with business goals and user needs Plan and execute cloud migration strategies in collaboration with stakeholders The Ideal Person Cloud expertise: At least three years experience in cloud design, deployment, and optimisation. IaaS/PaaS knowledge: Extensive experience with infrastructure and platform-as-a-service solutions with proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Azure ARM, and AWS CDK. Scripting & Automation: Proficient in Perl, Python, PowerShell, and CI/CD tooling with strong Git skills for effective source code management. Additionally, you will have broad IT expertise, including backups, storage, systems administration, and data protection skills with sound stakeholder engagement skills with a commitment to fostering team development. Salary / Rate $125/hr – $160/hr incl. Super 12-month contract with 24-month extension options
