Role Overview We are looking for a passionate Systems Engineering Manager with a strong background in Electronics/Electrical engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development and integration of advanced electronics systems for new, critical Defence projects. This role combines hands-on design work, strategic project leadership, and mentorship of junior engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that drive innovation and excellence. The ideal candidate is someone with a good mix of experience in management, system design, and a deep understanding of the Defence landscape. Responsibilities Elicit / refine / document requirements Lead and mentor a team of engineers Review work tasks by technical staff Facilitating teams on all systems engineering tasks Contribute to the development and implementation of a variety of plans Identify project and product risks and escalate using defined processes Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in electronics design and development. Exposure and experience working in a Defence environment. Eligibility for or holds ADF Security Clearance to NV1 (Australian Citizenship required) Experience in engineering management Configuration Management and Systems Engineering experience Why Join Us?
