About the company Global Financial Services Business Flexible Hybrid set up – 2 days per week in the office 12-month contract $1000 Per Day About the role A financial services business needs a Senior Security Engineer to provide technical expertise helping the company migrate away from legacy devices into Next Generation Firewalls. This is a long-term contract opportunity to join as a senior member of the Firewall team. Responsibilities: Provide expert level technical knowledge of Network Security to drive the project scope forward Act as a point of escalation for junior engineers Advanced troubleshooting, configuration and management of advanced firewall devices Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to resolve complex network issues Skills and experience Experience working with FortiGate, Juniper SRX and Checkpoint Firewalls Previous experience working on a large-scale NGFW migration project Good knowledge of F5 Loadbalancers – GTM/LTM Relevant vendor certifications – ideally Fortinet NSE 4 or above Excellent communication skills
