About the Role As a Backend Software Engineer II, you’ll join our Facilitators and Learners Experience team, which is dedicated to enhancing the onboarding process for employees across the organization. Our team leads projects to elevate the blended learning experience, focusing on features that improve the journey and engagement of learners. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that impact how training is delivered across the organization. In This Role, You Can Expect To: - Build and maintain web applications, APIs, and microservices using C# ASP.NET. - Introduce new features to our Inductions project while enhancing the performance and scalability of the product. - Support additional features within our blended learning platform. - Write high-quality distributed system software and promote engineering best practices. - Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software. - Develop and maintain key system features. - Demonstrate competency in all relevant technologies, understanding the impact of your code on upstream and downstream services. - Work in a hybrid environment, including at our HQ in Surry Hills, Sydney. - Embody SafetyCulture’s values (Think Customer, Open Honest Always, Better as a Team, Be Bold Bring Action). You May Be a Great Fit for This Role If You Have: - Experience in C# / .NET and SOLID Principles. - Previous experience working in fast-paced environments, particularly with SaaS companies, in progressively senior roles. - The ability to leverage technical expertise into leadership within an engineering team. - Knowledge and hands-on experience with databases and cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
