We are seeking applications from Systems Engineers who would be interested in full time roles supporting of Defence projects in Canberra. If you have a proven understanding of the systems engineering life-cycle within a Defence environment and are looking for your next challenge, then now is the time to reach out. Engineers with a background in Safety, V&V, Project engineer and Systems are encouraged to apply. Potential Tasks: Provide specialist advice and guidance on the delivery of engineering tasks Design and develop military systems and equipment including testing, integration, installing and managing the systems and equipment Creation of SEMP and have a solid understanding into the One Capability Lifecycle Derive system requirements, define the test requirements and participate in system design and system requirements reviews Undertake functional analysis to identify the optimum solution against a set of requirements and develop system specifications Perform the integration and validation of complex system designs Ensure all documents and artefacts generated are in accordance with appropriate standard procedures and work instructions Manage key commonwealth customers and stakeholders for engineering delivery Skills/Experience: Bachelor of engineering or relevant tertiary qualifications Solid knowledge of the Defence One Capability lifecycle Experience across the full systems engineering life-cycle Gate 0 - 2 process management experience and contractual requirements understanding Strong communications skills both written and oral A high level of self-motivation, time management and organisational ability Australian Citizenship essential; current or reinstatable clearance required Please apply in Word format, PDF is also accepted.
