Newly created, growing team, leading NFP Hybrid (1-3 days in office), South East location $122k Super 18k Salary Packaging A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a high likelihood of transitioning to a permanent role. This position will be split between 60% security operations and 40% GRC activities. You will join a small but growing security team, that works very collaborative and wants to see you succeed. About the Role: Spend 60% of your time working with security operation tools. Spend 40% of your time focusing on GRC tasks such as compliance reporting and ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks. Perform risk assessments for third-party vendors and manage identity and access systems. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of cybersecurity across hospital systems and infrastructure. About You: 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a mix of operational and GRC responsibilities. Proficient in frameworks like NIST, ISO27001, Essential 8, and CIS V8. Expertise in SIEM and Vulnerability Management tools including CrowdStrike. Good knowledge of Azure and M365 security tools, with experience in cloud security. Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
