Drive innovation in digital and sustainable infrastructure Parramatta Based with Work from home options available As a Structural Engineer at Sydney Water, you will support design reviews, update standards, implement the Engineering Assurance framework, and provide technical expertise. Responsibilities: Assist in the identification, creation and active management of technical specifications, standards and guidelines related to Structural engineering Assist in evaluating innovation in Structural Engineering aspects, maintaining oversight and processing deviation requests to relevant technical guidelines, standards and specifications Provide input to the definition of information, insights, data, systems, models and tools required for engineering and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information. Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil or structural discipline, that is recognised under the Washington Accord or Engineers Australia, with relevant experience in Structural Engineering. A drivers license (C class). Approximately five (5) years of experience predominantly in structural design Demonstrated experience in structural design of water retaining structures Ability to investigate and challenge Sydney Water standards, Australian and international standards, and industry practise to ensure that the organisation can innovative solutions. Exposure in working in a multi-disciplinary design team. Please note as part of the application process, you will be asked to undergo background checks which includes a criminal history check.
