ConsultANZ is looking for a Site/Project Engineer for a client located in Parramatta, NSW. The client works within the construction logistics sector, streamlining material management and operational efficiency while providing consultancy support for major infrastructure projects in the area. Main Duties Your responsibilities are such as, but not limited to: Oversee and manage site operations, ensuring work is completed to design specifications and safety standards. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to meet project timelines. Monitor and control material delivery, usage, and placement on-site. Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements. Prepare site reports, maintain documentation, and update progress records. Address technical challenges and provide solutions during construction. Preferably experienced in managing the importation of large volumes of material (up to 1 million tonnes) and ensuring proper placement in specified layers. Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project status. Support planning, scheduling, and coordination activities with the project team. Requirements The successful candidate will bring into the role: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. At least 3-5 years of experience with earthwork projects is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction processes and project management. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings. Skilled in using relevant engineering and project management software.
