Australian Citizenship with Baseline Canberra Based 12 month Contract with 2 12 month extensions We are on the hunt for a Canberra based Infrastructure engineer to come and work with our client for a long term contract. Key duties and responsibilities The Infrastructure engineer is responsible for leading the management of the on-premises ICT Suite and end-user-facing digital technologies (M365 Standard Operating Environment (SOE), Email). The team provides critical and regular management and maintenance of high priority platforms and services that keep the department operating, including identity and access management, server maintenance and monitoring, and application packaging. The candidate/s will be responsible for ongoing support for Windows Server operating systems, troubleshooting, and escalation/ major incident resolution in addition to working on desktop projects and business as usual processes (BAU) within the Infrastructure Services team. This may include supporting M365 Apps for Enterprise (Microsoft office suite), in addition to providing in-depth technical guidance to our Windows 10 and Windows 11 environment. Essential criteria 1. Demonstrated experience and expertise dealing with the following: Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise (M365 Pro Plus) including servicing and update channels Microsoft 365 Licensing Windows 10 and Windows 11 including servicing and update channels Windows Server fundamentals (AD, DNS, DFS etc.) Group Policy configuration including Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM) MECM (SCCM) skills including SOE creation/maintenance, application packaging and patching Technical Design and Guidance Writing Australian Government IT Cyber Security processes including ISM, Essential 8 and ACSC hardening guides Desirable criteria Demonstrated experience and expertise dealing with the following: Mobile Device Management (MDM) / Mobile Access Management (MAM) Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) Patch My PC Adobe products Certificates and PKI related infrastructure If you wish to apply for this position, please submit your resume by clicking the 'Apply Now' button.
