We are looking for a NOC Services Desk Engineer who will provide remote support to existing customers in relation to technical customer problems and queries for Nexon. This position is within our Managed Services Operations team. Nexon Asia Pacific provides IP services, IP infrastructure, voice communications, network applications and professional services to SMEs. Furthermore, we are a Cisco Managed Service Provider: we sell and deliver Cisco-based managed services through a premium network operations centre investment, and offer enhanced management and stewardship practices. Essential Skills: Provide remote advice and support to existing customers in relation to network problems and queries on an ISP level Provide initial post-installation first level support and assistance to customers on an ongoing basis. Documentation of technical solutions to customer problems and queries Manage the escalation of customer issues. Maintaining procedures manuals for existing customers, updated support activities on customer database and up to date timesheet reporting. Understanding of Telco/ISP Networking and Cisco LAN experience Basic Firewall Experience: E.g. Palo Alto, Cisco ASA WAN technical Understanding: MPLS, PPP ASP/MSP/ISP/Telco hosting and related environments Experience in troubleshooting of networks for ISP level provider High level of attention to detail with methodical troubleshooting processes Targets & KPIs: Show a thorough understanding and ability to perform all administrative tasks set Ability to deal with sales teams and customers Demonstrate a knowledge of accounts or strong numerical skills Possess good business acumen, excellent communication skills (verbal and oral) Exhibit professionalism while dealing with tough internal as well as external situations Demonstrate a high level of time management skills and ability to work independently as require Qualifications : Bachelor of Information Technology, or Engineering or relevant qualification 12 Months Networking experience working with Cisco Routing/Switching platforms Holds base level certification CCNA or equivalent working experience Why Nexon?
