ConsultANZ is looking for a Site Engineer/Project Engineer to work on iconic projects in Brisbane with our well-established ground engineering client renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative projects across the region. Responsibilities Attend construction meetings regularly to stay updated on-site progress. Manage and coordinate contract performance and construction practices efficiently. Promptly resolve construction-related issues. Thoroughly understand project contract terms, scopes, and engineering specifics. Diligently monitor productivity levels within the designated project section. Prioritise and enforce health and safety standards on-site. Actively participate in pre-project briefings to fully understand project objectives. Provide daily supervision and guidance to ensure safe and high-quality work. Communicate incidents, issues, or delays promptly to relevant stakeholders. Work on quality assurance tasks such as checking reinforcements and sampling during concrete pours. Implement general quality assurance procedures on-site. Requirements The successful candidate will bring to the role: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or similar/related field. At least 1-5 years of proven site-based experience in a piling environment. A good understanding of piling techniques such as D-wall, large diameter rotary bored, and ground improvement operations is required. Ability to work in a demanding environment in sometimes challenging conditions. Highly motivated attitude to learn and grow within the industry. Benefits $70k - $90k base super (negotiable based on skills & experience) for Site Engineer. $100k - $120k base super car (negotiable based on skills & experience) for Project Engineer. Temporary contact for 9 months with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position depending on performance. Job stability and opportunities for career growth.
