About the Role Based in BYD's Sydney office in Macquarie Park, this role will support our BYD Automotive Engineering Research Institute Team . On offer is a Product Engineer position and your day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to: Conduct competitor analysis including product features, market strategies, and technological trends. Lead market research activities targeting on the product performance under various vehicle driving scenarios. Advise on the development & optimization of product configurations based on the information and data collected in the market research. Develop and continuously improve the research & analysis processes. Key requirements: Deep understanding of the Australian automotive market, with strong consumer insights. At least 2 years of experience in a similar position within automotive industry. Bachelor's degree, with a preference for majors in market strategy or engineering. Possesses proficient computer skills, and strong capability in delivering presentations to senior stakeholders. Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin Being able to work onsite 5 days a week and travel domestically and internationally for business if needed.
