With a strong pipeline of remedial projects, a great work culture, and flexibility, this could be the perfect career move for you The Role As a Senior Remedial Structural Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Assessment and diagnosis of structural issues in existing buildings, including concrete, steel, masonry, and timber structures. Preparation of remedial solutions and technical reports for clients, including recommendations for repair, refurbishment, and maintenance. Detailed analysis and design of structural strengthening, façade remediation, waterproofing, and corrosion protection solutions. Site inspections and investigations to assess structural condition, defects, and compliance issues. Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Overseeing project delivery, from initial assessment through to construction phase support. Keeping up to date with the latest materials, techniques, and industry standards in remedial engineering. Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: 5 years of experience in remedial, forensic, or structural engineering. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Structural or Civil Engineering. A strong understanding of building defects, deterioration, and repair methodologies. Experience in site inspections, condition assessments, reporting, and design of remedial solutions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams. The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
