Work options: Hybrid Work on delivering a large and complex $34 billion dollar infrastructure program Lead a team of engineers and oversee large-scale infrastructure projects and programs from initiation to completion Flexible working hours to suit your needs We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer with a background ideally in Construction and/or Water Infrastructure Projects who will bring deep industry expertise, leadership, and a history of successfully managing large-scale projects from start to finish. Your skills and expertise will help Sydney Water deliver a long-term investment program over the next 10 years to build, maintain and protect the future of our iconic water resources. What You’ll Do: As the Lead Project Engineer , you will provide technical leadership across the development and delivery of Sydney Water’s high-profile projects. You will collaboratively work with a wide team of stakeholders to take ownership of the technical decision-making process through the life of the project to ensure delivery of technically and commercially acceptable outcomes, while leading a team of project engineers to create world-class engineering outcomes. You will have the opportunity to work on water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, Sydney’s first purified recycled water plant, major pump stations and an extensive network of water and wastewater networks. Your Experience and Qualifications Engineering degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent/related technical qualifications. Leadership : Demonstrated previous leadership experience in managing large-scale construction infrastructure projects, as well as leading, developing and growing a team of engineers. Critical Technical Thinking : Ability to assess technical challenges and develop innovative solutions for commercially acceptable outcomes. Valid driver’s licence with the ability to work in remote locations, where public transport may not be available. Does this sound like you?
