Must be an Australian Citizen This will be a Hybrid/Office based role in ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC, WA. We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing and implementing integrated ICT solutions. You will collaborate with project managers, product owners, solution architects, and senior stakeholders to develop and maintain robust systems that align with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement integrated ICT solutions that align with business objectives and technology roadmaps. Provide engineering solutions that consider dependencies and integrations with partner agencies and industry partners. Analyze complex systems and recommend effective courses of action. Manage and monitor installed systems and infrastructure. Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools. Troubleshoot and escalate issues, ensuring timely resolutions. Contribute to external contract development and review test plans for integration compliance. Engage with stakeholders for documentation development and issue resolution. Monitor and test application performance, implementing improvements as needed. Ensure smooth testing and handover of implemented solutions. Drive continuous improvement by developing and enhancing procedures. Mentor and train junior and non-technical staff. Essential Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in Cloud Solution Architecture (AWS) across both infrastructure and applications. Strong understanding of cloud security, virtualization, and database management. Expertise in Application (.Net) and Integration (ERP/Asset Management preferred but not essential) design and transformation. Engineering knowledge and/or certification in TOGAF and SOA. Hands-on experience with cloud architecture, OS, multitenancy, virtualization, orchestration, and elastic scalability. Proficiency in technologies such as CheckMK, Atlassian, AWS native services, Splunk, THREDDS, KeyCloak, and application monitoring tools. Experience with Hydrographic software such as CARIS. Knowledge of Geospatial systems and technologies. Experience working with bespoke data storage solutions.
