About the role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer / Team Lead to join our dynamic team in delivering high-quality electrical designs and services across a range of projects. The successful candidate will lead a team, collaborate with clients, and ensure the smooth execution of electrical designs, with a strong focus on building services, lighting design, and project management. Requirements for this role Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 5-8 yrs years of experience in a similar role or within the building services industry. Strong experience in electrical building services design, specifically within the Australian building services sector. Proficiency in system design calculations using PowerCAD. Expertise in lighting selection and design, with experience using lighting design software (Agi32, Dialux). Ability to produce technical specifications and detailed design documentation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams Full working rights to work in QLD Australia Key Responsibilities: Lead electrical design projects, ensuring all work is completed on time and to the highest standards. Manage and attend client and project meetings, ensuring strong client relationships are maintained. Attend project and site meetings to ensure project goals are achieved. Ensure designs comply with relevant industry regulations and authority requirements. Prepare various project documentation, including: Design documentation Electrical design calculations Specifications Project reports RFI responses Written project correspondence Coordinate design disciplines, ensuring all designs align with other project requirements.
