This is a Hybrid role and can be based in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane or Sydney) Key Accountabilities Input into the development of systems, tools and procedures that improve our capabilities Contribute to constant enhancement of our Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Active involvement in the proposal and implementation of solutions for ICT services Actively take part in Change, Incident and Problem Management BAU and Project work including responsibility for project management of tasks Provide technical support, coordination and advice to customers and others in the technical team Vendor management Ensure the effective and efficient operation of ICT services Ensuring incidents are resolved within agreed service level commitments Managing and maintaining the ICT asset and software license registers Ensuring ICT maintains a low risk profile and a secure IT environment Maintain systems at a supported version by applying latest patches and service packs Recognising the potential for automation of processes Technical Environment Azure - Servers, Identity Management, Networking, Resource Groups, Storage, Cost Management Microsoft Office 365 - Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams SQL Server DBA Skills Knowledge of deploying and managing Azure SQL Managed Instances, including instance creation, configuration, and scaling Windows Operating Environment - Server Products, Desktop Environment, Hyper-V Microsoft Infrastructure - AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP Azure Desktop Virtualisation Security practices - Essential 8, DTA Protected Desktop Security Products - Defender, Threat Protection, Vulnerability Scanners Monitoring and management solutions - Azure monitor, Azure sentinel Networking - Cisco, Meraki, Zscaler Security Appliances HP Server Hardware Skills / Experience Required Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders A passion for technology and problem solving Strong technical understanding of Microsoft architecture, tools and related products supporting desktop, server and network environments. Exposure to product lifecycle management Self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision and the ability to independently research processes Great time management skills and prioritising to work toward a fixed deadline Logical and structured approach Attention to detail You must be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident in order to be considered for this role.
