Position: L3 Engineer Location: Perth, CBD Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 Job Type: Permanent Position Overview: We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Level 3 Engineer to join a dynamic IT service provider with a strong focus on projects and BAU support. In this role, you’ll be the senior escalation point for complex technical issues and take the lead on delivering IT infrastructure projects. Working closely with a supportive and collaborative team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions and mentor junior engineers. Roles and Responsibilities: Provide advanced Level 3 technical support for escalated hardware, software, and network issues. Lead and deliver IT infrastructure projects from planning through to implementation. Manage and maintain virtualised environments (VMware, Hyper-V) and Microsoft 365 administration. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and server-related issues. Proactively identify and implement IT infrastructure improvements. Utilise PowerShell and automation tools to optimise processes and improve efficiency. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Document solutions and maintain detailed technical documentation. Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 engineers, promoting knowledge-sharing and professional growth. Role Requirements: Proven experience in a Level 3 support role within an IT service provider environment. Strong technical expertise in Microsoft 365, VMware/Hyper-V, and network infrastructure. Proficiency in PowerShell and automation tools. Experience delivering and managing IT projects. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. IT certifications such as Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), CCNA, or similar (highly regarded). We appreciate your interest in this opportunity.
