Working within the Joint Systems Capability, you will be part of the team that enhance and sustain operational software on the Wakulda Air Battle Management System. Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled DevSecOps Software Engineer to enhance our software engineering lifecycle through efficient processes, tools, and performance metrics. This role is vital for the continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety-critical software, focusing on automation, monitoring, and security. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with teams to build secure software systems. Analyze and execute strategies to mitigate security risks. Foster a quality and compliance-driven environment. Adopt emerging technologies and frameworks in DevSecOps. Develop performance metrics for software processes. Automate processes for testing, integration, and deployment. Ensure adherence to engineering standards. Functional Competencies: Communication: Effectively convey information to stakeholders. Continuous Learning: Commit to personal development. Customer Focus: Prioritize customer needs. Innovation: Identify new solutions through creative thinking. Quality: Maintain high technical standards. Experience with software development and testing tools. Ability to design automated software tests. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience in DevSecOps practices and tools. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with security best practices.
