About the Role As an Infrastructure & Network Engineer, you’ll focus on designing and maintaining secure, efficient networks while ensuring seamless telephony and system management. With a strong emphasis on Meraki and Ubiquiti technologies, as well as network best practices, you'll be at the forefront of driving operational efficiency and ensuring the network infrastructure is secure, scalable, and high-performing. Key Responsibilities Network Design & Implementation : Lead the design, implementation, and management of secure, scalable networks using Meraki and Ubiquiti technologies to support global business growth. Telephony Systems Management : Oversee telephony platforms, including Twilio and Cisco , ensuring seamless communication across all business areas. Networking Best Practices : Apply networking best practices to design resilient and high-performing networks, with a focus on security and efficiency. Systems & Device Management : Use Intune and Addigy for managing devices across the network, ensuring security compliance and seamless operation. On-Prem Monitoring : Implement and manage on-prem monitoring tools like PRTG to ensure optimal performance, and quickly resolve network issues. Cybersecurity : Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain network security best practices, protecting the infrastructure from emerging threats. AI Integration : Contribute to AI initiatives such as computer vision and people counting models to enhance retail operations and customer experiences. Proactive Support & Optimisation : Maintain network health through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous optimisation of performance and security. About You Solid experience with Meraki and Ubiquiti networking technologies. Hands-on experience with Twilio and Cisco telephony systems. Strong knowledge of networking best practices , including VLANs, segmentation, and security. Experience with Intune and Addigy for device and system management. Familiarity with on-prem monitoring tools such as PRTG for effective performance management. Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices for network protection. A keen interest in AI technologies , especially computer vision and people counting models , and how they can be leveraged for business innovation. CCNA certification (bonus, not essential).
