The Opportunity Based in Perth CBD, this is a superb opportunity for a Senior or Lead Structural Engineer to become a trusted advisor to Clients, manage and mentor your team, and deliver superb engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Combining a hands on design role with leading and managing a small engineering team of engineers and drafters, you’ll require strong hands on engineering design, technical and interpersonal skills. Experience with FEA and design of dynamic structures (eg balanced machines, cranes etc) will be highly desirable, as will the ability to sign of design work. You’ll also be adept at managing existing clients to generate ongoing repeat business. Key Skills A recognised Australian engineering degree Well developed verbal, interpersonal & report writing skills Strong steel design skills in dynamic materials handling structures Ability to liaise with and develop strong Client relationships Ability to identify needs, quote & generate work from Clients Proven ability to sign off work, lead and manage an engineering team As one of the leading national and specialist consultants in mines and ports, they are growing with many long-standing employees and very high staff retention.
