OUR CLIENT We’re looking for an experienced Associate Engineer specialising in ICT to join our innovative national consultancy client. Based in Melbourne, you'll work alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions across commercial, healthcare, education, and retail projects. THE ROLE You will be responsible for the following: Oversee a portfolio of ICT projects, providing expertise in passive communications infrastructure, network design, IoT, and system integration. Work closely with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to develop integrated ICT solutions that align with client objectives and Australian Standards. Mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional development. Engage with clients and stakeholders, delivering innovative solutions that enhance user experience and achieve project goals. Champion best practices in ICT project delivery, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Stay up to date with industry standards, building codes, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement. ABOUT YOU You will have the following skills: Tertiary qualification in engineering or ICT. 8-10 years of experience in ICT consulting. Strong knowledge of passive communications infrastructure design, structured cabling, wireless networking, security and surveillance design, and system integration. Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a positive and productive team environment. Creative and adaptable problem-solving approach to tackle project challenges. Familiarity with Australian Standards, Building Codes, and project delivery methods.
