About this Role: We’re looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer who can be responsible for ensuring that the energy cloud and physical environments are secure in design, implementation and ensuring ongoing maintenance while our solution offering expands. This role works closely with other energy cloud team members such as developers, engineers, DevOps, architects, technical consultants as well as the EDMI customer support team. As the Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will bring a security mindset, applying agile and lean principles in design and system building. You’ll focus on security within the software, platform, cloud and code, leveraging wide knowledge of information technology and systems integration to design and improve the working system. In this role, you will: • Design and implement security solutions into the energy Azure cloud including pilots and PoC solutions with a hand-over to the other team members • Ensure security is front of mind when projects gather specifications and needs • Drive architecture and technical discussion together with the architecture group including cloud security, compliance, scale, performance, agility, and HA/DR considerations • Validating new services as the energy cloud expands • Remediate vulnerabilities and security issues within the products and platforms • Report on risks and set frameworks • Mentoring and guiding other EDMI staff members around security mindset To be successful in this role, you will: • 5 years of enterprise experience working with Azure as a security engineer • Holding a relevant a qualification in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent industry qualifications • Experience using security frameworks such as CPS234, ISO27001, PCI-DSS, NIST • Strong understanding of features and capabilities of the Microsoft Cloud Platform (Security, Firewalls, RedisCache, Key Vault, ASR, Networking, OMS, Blob Storage, Resource Groups, NSG, Application Insights, SQL Server, Sql DB, Load-Balancers) • Experience working in an agile environment. • Communicates effectively with people across a variety of backgrounds and develops constructive working relationships • Experience working in a software development environment • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager Template • Holding one of the following certifications: CISSP, GSEC, CEH or CISM • Azure Certifications AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-500 Apply Now At EDMI, we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
