Summary: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Biomedical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining medical devices and equipment. The Biomedical Engineer will work closely with healthcare professionals, researchers, and manufacturers to ensure that medical technology is safe, effective, and compliant with regulatory standards. Responsibilities: Design and develop new medical devices and equipment based on the needs of healthcare professionals and patients. Modify and improve existing medical devices and equipment to enhance performance and functionality. Conduct testing and validation of medical devices to ensure safety, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications. Provide technical support and training to healthcare staff on the use of medical devices and equipment. Investigate and troubleshoot issues with medical devices and equipment, providing solutions and recommendations. Ensure that all medical devices and equipment comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, CE marking). Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals. Stay up-to-date with advancements in biomedical engineering and medical technology. Participate in research and development projects to innovate and improve medical technology. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion of engineering projects. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in the design, development, and maintenance of medical devices and equipment. Strong knowledge of biomedical engineering principles, medical device regulations, and industry standards. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
