This is an opportunity to join us at the forefront of a once-in-a-generation technological advancement whilst at the same time securing the nation against ever-increasing threats Due to our team expanding, we are looking for a Network Engineer to join our Professional Services team to manage, maintain, and enhance network infrastructure supporting Vault Cloud’s key customers. The role is based in our Canberra office and is a unique opportunity to interact directly with internal and external customers and stakeholders to resolve their technical issues and provide expert guidance. You will be responsible for: Authoring detailed change request records, representing your changes at Change Advisory Board meetings and executing approved changes in alignment with change record artifacts and instructions Authoring and updating artifacts such as High-Level and Detailed Design, As-Built Document, Customer Interface Agreements as well as maintain records such as Software License Tracking, Cable Registers, Rack Diagrams, Network Diagrams Reviewing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code assets within Vault Cloud’s CI/CD Pipeline in collaboration with the Operations and Engineering teams ensuring a high standard of code functionality, stability, efficiency and maintainability. To be successful you will be able to demonstrate with: A computer or electronics related degree (or similar) or extensive relevant professional experience Advance level expertise and experience in one or more of the following: Service Management Data Center Management Infrastructure (Compute, Storage) IP Networks Strong understanding of key networking services, protocols, OSI and TCP/IP models of network layers Experience supporting Linux environment including bash and or python ITIL Foundation Foundation certifications in any of the following JIRA Confluence Jenkins Linux OpenStack Fortinet Ceph / Swift SDLC Flexibility to enjoy and thrive within a fast-paced, agile, and expanding scale-up environment What’s in it for you?
