About the Role Rubix Solutions are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to support a leading defence prime on a high-profile Maritime Defence Project . This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge defence technology, integrating COTS ICT hardware into mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities • Design and integrate COTS ICT hardware in line with defence project requirements. • Ensure compliance with Defence regulations and industry standards. • Apply a systems engineering approach to hardware design and development. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust hardware solutions. • Support testing, validation, and documentation processes. Essential Criteria • Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Systems Engineering). • Experience in COTS ICT hardware integration for complex systems. • Strong understanding of Defence compliance regulations and standards. • Familiarity with systems engineering principles in hardware design. • NV1 security clearance (mandatory).
