We are looking for Senior Data Engineers to work with our well know clientele on various programs of work. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a special role in delivering advanced data solutions to our clients. Your expertise in numerous reporting tools, strong stakeholder engagement abilities, and competency in leading data platforms will be crucial in your success in the role. Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions. Optimize data models and queries for efficient data retrieval and analysis. Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business users, to ensure seamless integration and data accuracy. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices. Experience: Proven experience in designing, building, and managing data solutions on Azure and Databricks. Strong proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL. Expertise in Databricks, including experience with Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL. Deep understanding of data modeling concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing principles. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, GitHub). Familiarity with data security, compliance standards and best practices. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage competing priorities. Experience working in organisations that utilise Agile, Test Driven Development (TDD), and CI/CD Consulting background is highly desirable, demonstrating the ability to work in a client-facing environment and deliver high-quality solutions. You'll be expected to be available to work in a hybrid capacity and be available to work when required in their CBD offices.
