Leading Australian Software Company based on the North Shore of Sydney requires an experienced end to end Test Engineer for 16 months plus contract. As a Test Engineer you will have expertise across the entire software testing lifecycle, be adept in automation framework development, and have a strong understanding of web, mobile, and API automation. On a daily basis, you will: Lead and execute end-to-end software testing processes. Develop and enhance automation frameworks for web, mobile, and APIs. Design and implement robust testing strategies for web applications, data integration, and reporting. Utilize CI/CD tools to integrate automated tests into development pipelines. Work with cloud services (e.g., AWS) and understand data lake/data vault modeling. Communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders To succeed in this role, you will have: Extensive experience in software testing lifecycle. Strong proficiency in SQL/T-SQL and relational databases. Expertise in API testing (SOAP/REST/GraphQL) using tools like ReadyAPI and Postman. Hands-on experience building web automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright, WebDriverIO, TypeScript, ExpressJS, and Docker. Expertise in developing mobile automation frameworks for iOS and Android. Strong background in API automation testing. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., CircleCI, Bitbucket Pipelines). Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or SiteSpeed. Public transport consisting of buses & trains is only a 2-minute walk away.
