Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Location: Sydney Job Type: Full-Time About the company: They are successful and innovative company, seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join the Sydney team. As a sole contributor, you will be responsible for managing both cloud and on-premise activities, ensuring the seamless operation of the Azure environment, and leading the migration of workloads to the cloud. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and optimise the Azure environment to ensure high availability and performance. Lead the migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Implement and manage cloud infrastructure solutions, including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources. Monitor and troubleshoot cloud and on-premise systems to ensure reliability and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements. Maintain some existing on-premise infrastructure Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a background maintaining Windows Servers, Active Directory, VMWare, O365 and networking At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on an Azure environment. Experience with cloud migration projects and tools. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
