This role provides the chance to work on one of the largest infrastructure projects in Australia, playing a key part in the successful delivery of cutting-edge transport infrastructure. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of building and structural components within the project, ensuring compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and schedules. Responsibilities Lead and manage the engineering and construction of building and structural elements for the stabling and maintenance facility. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery. Ensure all work complies with relevant engineering codes, specifications, and safety standards. Oversee site operations, managing resources, materials, and subcontractors to meet project goals. Conduct quality control inspections and resolve any technical issues that arise during the construction phase. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integration of building systems and structural elements. Provide regular reports to the PM & SPM on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies. Assist in the development of construction schedules, cost estimates, and budgets. Criteria Proven experience as a Project Engineer in building and structural engineering, ideally in large-scale infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes. Experience managing teams, contractors, and subcontractors. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome technical challenges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders. Familiarity with project management software and construction management tools. Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. What's Next?
