The Role: Senior DevOps Engineer We’re expanding our team of top-tier DevOps Engineers, driving impact across multiple high-profile projects in Australia. As a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable DevOps solutions while mentoring junior engineers and engaging with key stakeholders. What You’ll Do: Design & Implement CI/CD Pipelines – Develop and maintain robust continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and AWS CodePipeline. Infrastructure as Code & Automation – Build scalable and automated infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible. Drive best practices for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and orchestration. Cloud Platform Engineering – Design and optimize cloud environments on AWS and Azure, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability. Implement cost-efficient and high-performance cloud solutions. System Operations & Performance Optimization – Manage Linux and Windows-based environments, ensuring optimal system performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Security & Networking – Apply security best practices, identity management, and networking configurations to maintain secure cloud environments and application deployments. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with software engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders to align DevOps strategies with project goals. Facilitate technical discussions and advocate for best practices. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline. Strong hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) with a solid understanding of cloud-native services, cost optimization, and scalability best practices. Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Java, or C#. Experience managing Linux and Windows server environments, with a focus on automation and operational efficiency. Knowledge of networking and security best practices, including firewalls, IAM, encryption, and compliance standards. Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for containerized application deployment and management. Familiarity with database management (SQL/NoSQL) and API development.
