If you think so, then keep reading… You could be joining one of Australia's leading boutique digital consultancies as their Frontend Lead. Working with start-ups, scale-ups and enterprise businesses - you’d be helping to understand their needs and helping them build software which they didn’t know was possible. You’d be reporting directly to the Co-founder and taking a lead on everything frontend across the business. The first three months, you’ll be working with one of their clients to help build their frontend in React / TypeScript whilst getting to know your team - initially two frontend developers. As things progress you’ll be mentoring the team and growing it yourself whilst making strategic decisions across the business. The client base is already large but as the go-to frontend person, you’ll also be involved in qualifying new projects and roadmapping, you’ll be in front of different stake-holders and be the face of the business - with support of course. Here’s a clearer overview of what your role will look like: Hands on frontend development in React, TypeScript, React Native Mentoring and growing a team Talking with clients and solving their problems Looking at long-term frontend strategic initiatives across the business Working with a great bunch of people to make beautiful software The company are based in Melbourne but you’ll spend a lot of time with clients so that might mean time on client sites if they need it. Some clients might be fully remote, some might be hybrid and some onsite so a level of flexibility would be important although all clients will be in the Melbourne area.
