ABOUT THE ROLE: We’re looking for a highly skilled Lead Engineer – Data Migration to play a key role in a large-scale Enterprise Platforms Transformation Project. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing data migration solutions, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems to modern platforms. This role requires hands-on scripting, collaboration with stakeholders, and the leadership of a team of engineers. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop data migration solutions for modernizing enterprise platforms Write and optimize scripts in Kotlin, Node.js, AWS, SOAP, and Java for seamless data movement Collaborate with Business Analysts and key stakeholders to define migration requirements Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot migration challenges Optimize performance of data pipelines to handle large datasets efficiently Integrate ERP platforms such as Oracle and Workday for a smooth transition Lead and mentor a team of engineers in best practices for data migration REQUIREMENTS Proven experience in data migration and legacy system modernization Strong scripting expertise in Kotlin, Node.js, AWS, SOAP, and Java Experience working with ERP platforms (Oracle, Workday, or similar) In-depth understanding of database structures, data pipelines, and integration best practices Leadership skills – ability to mentor engineers and drive project success Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving abilities
