Kinexus is working with a number of national security agencies to deliver critical technology solutions that contribute to Australia's defence and security capabilities. These roles offer impactful and technically challenging projects that make a real difference. Current Opportunities: We have multiple exciting roles available, including: Senior Cyber Analyst: Provide ICT security advice, conduct threat modelling and analysis, and deliver complex briefs on national security issues. (ACT, QLD, VIC, WA-based) Lead Cyber Analyst or Engineer: Lead the design, development, and implementation of signals intelligence systems, provide strategic cyber security advice, and manage threat intelligence teams. (ACT-based) Lead Security Engineer: Provide operational and system security management, undertake security design and implementation, and conduct verification and validation activities. (ACT, QLD, VIC, WA-based) Senior Security Engineer: Manage ICT system security activities, develop System Security Plans (SSP), and achieve Authority to Operate (ATO) compliance. (ACT, QLD, VIC, WA-based) On Offer: Work on high-impact national security and intelligence projects, contributing to Australia's defence and security missions. Competitive rates ranging from $160 to $200 per hour , depending on experience and role. Initial contracts of 12-19 months , with the potential for multiple extensions. Opportunities to enhance and maintain high-level security clearances (Baseline to TSPV). Who We Are Looking For: We are seeking professionals with: Minimum 3-10 years of relevant cyber and security experience (depending on the role). Expertise in ICT security , cyber threat analysis , and security operations . Strong leadership , communication , and stakeholder engagement skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a desire to innovate within a fast-paced, mission-critical setting.
