We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Mining Engineer with drill and blast experience to work with our client Rio Tinto. Working FIFO Perth at Hope Downs on an 8:6 roster the role is responsible for: Scheduling drill and blast activities to align with mine development and production forecasts. Supports the team to delivery daily drilling and blasting proposals. Collaborates and communicates with other Engineers to provide assistance for mine engineering activities Supports the team to deliver the quarterly, weekly and daily mine plan for drill and blast activities. To be considered for this role you will have: Mining Engineering qualifications. Exposure to iron ore mining Drill and blast and scheduling experience. Well-developed communication and organisational skills Australian working rights This position is offered FIFO Perth on a 3-to-4-month contract working an 8:6 roster.
