As part of this capability growth, Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the delivery of additional capability to the Wakulda Program. As a skilled systems engineer you will apply your extensive systems engineering knowledge and leadership ability to support a multidisciplinary engineering team in the delivery and sustainment of a complex ICT-based Air Battle Management System. Key responsibilities include: Application of Systems Engineering Lifecycle to the Sustainment of ICT Systems Develop and document moderately complex requirements via drawings, data sets, reports, specifications and supporting data Leading the development of ICT technical instructions, deployment instructions, and interface control documents Tests and validates designs to meet operational and functional requirements Resolves moderately complex problems with product integration and production anomalies. Develops and progresses change management artefacts Manages design through the system engineering reviews and business gate process, including options analysis define design development approval integrate and verify delivery close out Works with the project team to identify, mitigate and manage technical and project risks associated with capability delivery Perform independent review in accordance with delegated engineering authority. To be successful you will be able to demonstrate: 2 years' experience in complex technical development and integration projects. Understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle management, including Mandated System Reviews Strong communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to engage, influence and negotiate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and customers. Experience developing and executing against Systems Engineering artefacts including Systems Engineering Management Plans and Sustainment Plans Experience with Change Management processes and progressing change management artefacts Experience in technical problem solving Experience with aerospace and / or defence projects and ability to obtain NV1 Clearance Experience in supporting projects in an ASDEFCON contract environment highly regarded.
