The Hardware Engineer role exists to drive the development of new products and to support the existing products of the company. The role has a broad and deep scope, reflecting the diverse range of products, technologies, designing systems, applications, and customer requirements. About the role – what will you be doing: Developing complex new products and supporting the development of existing products Engaging in complex design tasks and hardware engineering plans to improve and manage technology from concept to delivery Coordinating resources to complete projects and designing detailed plans to ensure hardware and integrated systems are functioning properly Preparing, creating and reviewing instructional material for hardware operation and testing About you – what you will bring: Bachelors Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering conferred by a recognised institution or university Equivalent qualifications and or experience will be assessed along with secondary qualifications (certificates, diplomas etc) according to relevance to the position 6 years of developer experience Ability to resolve very complex problems that have a wide impact on a team or project Must be self-motivated and able to motivate others toward successful project completion Driven to learn new technical skills EDMI offers: Hybrid working 5 weeks annual leave and leave loading per year A day diversity leave (Birthday, special occasion, religious reason) Close to the Fortitude Valley Train Station Great collaborative culture Remuneration consistent with skills and experience Personal development opportunities, including unlimited access to the GO1 learning platform, which offers a vast array of courses and training materials to enhance your skills and knowledge.
