Description About the role: The successful applicant will be responsible for the designing, costing and planning civil works for new electrical infrastructure, both in greenfield and brownfield locations. Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for civil requirements of electrical projects. The role involves: Prepare civil estimates, quotations and other project documentation for underground cable projects Work in a team with other engineers and project staff to deliver financial results and customer service Responsible for communication with the client, contractor and authorities regarding project specific issues and resolutions Promote positive relations with customers, contractors and suppliers The opportunity: The person we are looking for: Formal qualifications in civil engineering and relevant industry experience would be highly regarded Minimum of 3 years' experience within an electrical, high voltage or power distribution environment is desirable. Demonstrated ability to provide accurate estimates, quoting and project delivery Sound commercial acumen accompanied by proven negotiation and inter-relationship skills Experience in the urban residential land development market would be advantageous HSEQ experience desirable Skills And Experiences The successful applicant must hold and maintain an Australian Drivers Licence, and able to work in various locations based in VIC. Intrastate travel may be required from time to time, as well as working from our Head Office in Melbourne, as required.
