Engineering Surveyor — Sydney, Sydney Region

ConsultANZ requires the services of a Surveyor to work for our client, a specialist survey company. If you are a Surveyor looking to develop your career in gaining experience working on major infrastructure projects, then this one is for you. Main Duties: You will be responsible for surveying and setting out for construction delivery. Conduct accurate land surveys using equipment like total stations, GPS, and laser scanners. Prepare detailed survey plans and maps based on collected data. Analyze survey data to determine measurements and elevations. Ensure compliance with regulations and project specifications. Collaborate with engineering teams to support project planning and site inspections. Maintain and update survey records and provide technical support as needed. About You: The successful candidate will bring to the role: A relevant degree in surveying or equivalent. Excellent communication skills, particularly with site personnel and Project Managers. Highly proficient field and office work. Ability to manage/adhere to project timelines. A firm understanding of providing survey functions for civil and construction works. A good understanding and experience with modern survey instrumentation, including 1-man total stations, GPS, data modelling and manipulation through a survey CAD package.
